Intl. Relations Representative , IRSCA Gifted Education , Netherlands/Romania. IRSCA Gifted Education is a Romanian NGO supporting the gifted children and youth. I arranged various contacts in Netherlands for IRSCA Gifted Education. This activity was done on a voluntary basis.

Volunteer with scientifical tasks , NEMO , Amsterdam. I realized various experiments within 'Nemo Wonder Lab', explaining to the visitors the working manner and the principles behind the experiments. I answered also the questions of the visitors (related to the experiments or just simple curiosities of them).
Nov. 1998 - May 2004
Technical and scientific worker , FOM Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics AMOLF , Amsterdam. I was active in various projects concerning ultrashort laser pulses. I had responsibilities varying from the maintenance of the experimental setup and running of the experiments up to the writing of scientifically papers.
I was part of the scientific group leaded by Prof. Dr. H.G. Muller. This group has had a pioneering influence on the modern laser physics, holding by now for more than 5 years- together with French colleagues - the worldwide absolute record for the shortest laser pulses (2000 - 250 as; 2003 - 160 as). Various collaborations with Prof. Dr. H.G. Muller are still in progress.

The project was designed for people who just left psychiatric units, in stable clinical condition, but without contacts and/or presenting disabilities when relationing with the 'real world'.
March - April 2005
Counselor, Gedetineerdenbezoek Project . The project consisted in visiting and counseling people under temporary detention. According to the Dutch law, the temporary emprisonment can last from one day (theoretically) for a 'no felony' emprisonment - to a maximum extent of 3 months, for various delicts, before trialing. To my disappointment, although the project was running very well, I did join it exactly at a time of shifts in the project management, so that I was not able to really get into the prison. Tough, to my surprise, I was offered at some point the management of the group. Although delighted, I declined the offer due to (canceled) relocation plans.
